Vorige week zijn we 4 dagen op reis geweest, naar Italië !
Het was de eerste keer dat de kids met een vliegtuig reisden en ze vonden het heel leuk.
Eerste bestemming : Pisa
Last week, during easterholidays, we made a trip with the kids to Italy.
It was their first time in a plane and they liked it!
First destination : Pisa

Ik had opgezocht of er quiltshops waren, en heel toevalligwas er 1 heel dicht bij de scheve toren. Maar ramp o ramp, alle winkels sluiten tussen 14u00 en 16u30, siësta! Wij waren er net om 15u. We konden geen uur meer wachten met de kids, dus jammmmer! Maar ja, ik kies dan wel nog eens een leuke winkel in België uit.
There was a quiltshop very near to the Pisa tower, but unfortunately it was closed. That day was not the closing day, but in Italy all shops close in the afternoon, kind of siësta. We we're there at 3PM and it would be open again 4.30 But I couldn't wait so long with the children. That was a very affliction, standing there in front of a closed quiltdoor :-)

De volgende dag gingen we naar de stad Lucca en Montecatini (in de bergen). Daar kan je met een kabeltreintje (funicolare) naar Montecatini alto, dat is het oude stadsgedeelte dat boven op de berg ligt.
The next day we went to the town of Lucca and Montecatini (in the mountains). There you can take a
cablelift(train) (funicolare) to get to the old part of the town on the mountain.
